Deleting a draft claim or withdrawing a submitted one

Modified on Thu, 1 Oct at 4:58 PM

You can take back a claim yourself as long as nobody has acted on it yet. Go to My Account > Expense Claims.

Deleting a draft

A draft is yours alone; nobody has seen it. Choose Delete on the draft and confirm. It is removed along with anything you attached to it, and this cannot be undone.

Withdrawing a submitted claim

Once submitted, the treasurer has the claim in their list, so it is withdrawn rather than deleted. Choose Withdraw on the claim and confirm. It will not be paid, and whoever handles your claims will see that you took it back rather than that it was turned down. You can always submit a new one.

Why can't I withdraw this claim?

Because it has already been dealt with. Once a claim has been approved, rejected or paid, a second person has committed to it and it can no longer be withdrawn. If it still needs sorting out, speak to whoever handles your claims.
