Yes it's possible for you to not only volunteer yourself but also others. When volunteering for a task, you can enter the first name, last name, email address, telephone number and specify whether each volunteer is DBS checked and whether they would like to display their name to other potential volunteers.
Clicking the "Me" checkbox will automatically populate the record with your own details to save you entering them manually.
Clicking the "Display" checkbox will display your name to other potential volunteers.
Clicking the "DBS" checkbox will ensure that the organisers running the task know that you are DBS checked.
This latter function has come about because we know that certain helpers want to know who else is helping with a specific task. Of course, volunteers can remain anonymous if they wish. This can be found in "My Account" > "Volunteer":
