There are two ways that you can restrict access to your website. You can edit these in "Admin" > "Settings" > "Basic Details" tab:
Register To View
If this option is checked then your customers must be registered in order to access your website. If they try to access any pages they will automatically be redirected to the login form.
Customers Require Approval
If this option is checked then your customers must be approved before they can login to your website. They can still access all pages pre-login. An email will be sent to the main email address you have registered for you organisation when somebody registers on your website.
