Transaction fees apply for payments as follows:
Stripe fees are 1.5% + 20p or 1.2% + 20p if you are a registered charity or can prove your non-profit status.
Stripe Link is charged at 1.2% + 20p.
PTA Events charge a platform fee of 3.95% for all standard* transactions placed by customers registered to organisations on our free Starter plan and 1.5% to those registered on our Premium plan. Your PTA Events website remains completely FREE to your organisation as there will be no charge to you. The fee can be passed on to your community just like the fees for processing payments.
On the PTA Events platform you can set your Stripe account type to either "Business" or "Charity" (once your charity status has been confirmed by Stripe) to ensure that your customers pay Stripe's default fees.
Please note - as we do not know if a customer will be using AMEX or a non-European card until after they have paid it is not possible to modify the fee that has already been calculated and as a result this may be higher.
