Can I copy an event?

Yes! Because most organisations run the same events each year, we recommend copying an existing event rather than setting one up from scratch. This saves time and ensures consistency across your events.

How to copy an event

1. Locate your existing event
You may need to find your event in the archive. Events are automatically archived once their end date has passed.

2. Show archived events
From the Event Management page, open the Manage menu and select Show archived events.
By default, this will display all past events from the current year.

By default this will show you all events in the past for the current year. To select a previous year, select the year:

3. Select a different year (if needed)
If the event you want to copy is from a previous year, use the year selector to view older events.

4. Copy the event
Once you’ve found the event you want to reuse, click Copy from the event management menu.

5. Set the new event date
A modal window will appear, allowing you to set the date and time for the new event.
When you click Copy, a new event will be created automatically. The platform will also update:

  • Event dates

  • Sales dates

  • Product sales dates

  • Task deadlines
to reflect the new event date and time.

Final checks

After copying the event, remember to:

  • Remove the word “COPY” from the event name.

  • Update any SKU or product names if they include dates from the original event.
