Yes! As most organisations using the platform run the same events, we recommend you copy an event rather than setting a new one up from scratch. To copy an event, you may need to find your event in the archives. Events get archived when the event end date has passed. In your event management page, click the "Show archived events" button. By default this will show you all events in the past for the current year. To select a previous year, select the year:
When you have found the event you want to copy, click "Copy" from the' event management menu:
A modal window will appear where you can set the date of the new event. When you click "Copy" a new event will be created and we will have updated event, sales, product sales and task dates automatically to reflect the new date & time of the newly created event.
You will then need to
- Remove the word COPY from your new event
- Update product SKU's to remove the word COPY
- You may also need to update the names of your SKU's and products if there were dates in their original SKU's & names.
