Once you begin processing payments with Stripe, your first payout is typically made 7–10 days after your first successful payment is received. After this initial payout, future payouts are processed according to the payout schedule set on your Stripe account.
This initial delay allows Stripe to manage and mitigate some of the risks associated with providing credit and payment services. As a result, funds are usually available in your bank account around 7 days after a purchase is made.
Many organisations choose to change their Stripe payout settings to manual payouts. This gives greater control over when funds are transferred. In these cases, organisations often use the PTA Events “Treasurer by Event” report to calculate and pay out specific amounts to their bank account as needed.
