By default, all events and product groups are displayed in ascending order by event date. Because product groups do not have an event date, the system uses the date the product group was created to determine its position in the list.
If you’d like to change the order of your product groups, you can do so by temporarily converting the product group into an event and adjusting its date. Follow the steps below:
1. Convert the product group to an event
Go to Admin > Product Groups > Manage, open the product management menu for the relevant product group, and select Convert to Event.

2. Locate the converted event
Navigate to Admin > Events. If the event does not appear in your current event list, open the Manage menu and select Show Archived Events to locate it.

3. Edit the event
Click on the event name or select Edit from the event management menu.

4. Update the event start date
Set the event start date far into the future. This will determine the new position of the item in the overall ordering.

5. Convert the event back to a product group
From the event management menu, select Convert to Product Group.

6. Make any final adjustments
Return to Admin > Product Groups to review the updated order or make any additional changes as needed.
