You may notice that a product appears sold out to customers, even though your reports show that not all available items have been purchased.
This happens when customers add items to their basket but do not complete the checkout process. While items remain in a customer’s basket, they are temporarily reserved and unavailable to other customers.
If the customer does not complete their purchase within 60 minutes, the reserved items are automatically released and returned to general sale.

How can this be prevented?
To reduce the likelihood of this happening, we recommend setting a maximum purchase capacity, which helps ensure availability is managed more effectively and prevents items being held in multiple baskets at once.
