Why are my tickets showing as sold out to our customers but our admin pages are not showing as sold out?

When a customer adds items to their basket, those items are temporarily reserved and cannot be purchased by anyone else. If the customer does not complete checkout, the reserved items are automatically released back into general sale after 60 minutes.


This temporary reservation period can occasionally cause a discrepancy between what customers see as available and what is displayed in your event admin page.



To help minimise this, we recommend setting a maximum purchase quantity per customer. This reduces the likelihood of large numbers of tickets being held in baskets without completing checkout.
