How do I add an event from a template?

Adding an event from a template is the easiest way to add an event. Browse to "Admin" > "Events".


Our intuitive event template wizard will guide you through the process of adding an event. There are fewer options than adding an event from scratch but that's because the template has most of the configuration already defined as we know these work generally well for the types of organisation that use the platform.

 

Click "Add event from template" and then select the type of event that you want to add. The current options available are: 

  • School Disco
  • Valentine's Disco
  • Movie Night
  • Mother's Day Shopping
  • Father's Day Shopping
  • Magic Show
  • Fireworks / Bonfire Night
  • Happy's Circus
  • Summer / Winter Ball
  • Santa's Grotto
  • Family Photo Shoot
  • Quiz
  • Bulk Upload
  • Raffle (Online)

 

The event template wizard contains 4 steps to help you add your events:

  

1. Basic event information such as dates, times and names are pre-populated but can be changed

2. Tickets where you can set the price and the quantity available 

3. Booking information where you can specify whether you need to know the names & class of each person attending

4. Volunteers where you can specify the amount of volunteers you will need to run the event



When you have been through the steps in the Wizard, click "Create template event" to add your event.
