What happens after an auction has ended?

There is no automatic process when an auction finishes which gives your organisation the flexibility to conclude the auction in the way that works best for you.

If you would like your winning bidders to pay online through your website, you can convert your auction lots into products. This allows bidders to securely complete payment online.

How to Convert Auction Lots to Products

1. Log in as an Administrator.
2. From the main navigation, go to Admin > Events.
3. From the Manage menu, click Show Archived Events, as your auction has now finished.
4. Locate your auction and select Auction Lots from the Manage menu.
5. Click Convert to Products.

This will convert all eligible auction lots into products that can be purchased through your website. These will then appear for sale in the shop by clicking Shop in the main navigation, or on the auction's event page. 

Please note:

• The products will only be visible to the winning bidders when they log into your website and access the Shop.
• If a reserve price has not been met, that lot will not be converted into a product.

Notify Your Winning Bidders

 Once the products have been created, click the Email High Bidders button.

This will automatically send an email to all winning bidders, informing them that they can now log in and pay for their auction items online.
