Can we import class lists?

We do not offer an import facility because, both under GDPR and even prior to it, we have consistently taken the view that customer details should only be added to a PTA Events website when the individual has given explicit, recorded consent. For this reason, we require customers to register themselves rather than being added manually.

If you believe you have appropriate consent on record, please email support@pta-events.co.uk with an example of the consent you have obtained and details of what that consent allows you to do with the data. We may then be able to advise further. That said, this is an area we approach very cautiously due to data protection legislation.

Our position is that the safest and most compliant approach is for customers to provide their own explicit consent during the sign-up process.

It’s also worth noting that, in this relationship, PTA Events acts solely as the data processor. You remain the data controller, meaning you retain full control and ownership of your data. We do not share your data with any third parties.
