Is it possible for customers to delete their own account?

Yes they can if they browse to "My account" > "Preferences" they can request the right to erasure by clicking the "Exercise your right to erasure" button. 

This will then open up a modal window that provides your customers with more information about the process. 

The process is irreversible so to confirm deletion, the customer will need to enter the date they wish all of their personal information to be deleted. This must be in the format dd/mm/yyyy. Entering a date also allows a customer to specify any data in the future when their personal data will be purged automatically. Therefore if all of the customers children leave the school community in July 2020, they can enter the date and their data will be removed when that date has passed.
